All SurajWood prelaminated panels are carpenter-friendly. Follow this technical fabrication guide to achieve flawless on-site installation without surface chipping.
1. Saw Blade Specifications
Always use fine-tooth TCG (Triple Chip Grind) saw blades with at least 80-100 teeth on circular saws, running at high RPMs to ensure clean acrylic cuts.
2. Drilling Hinge Holes
Use sharp Forstner bits running at medium speeds. Clamp a wood backing board underneath the panel when drilling to prevent break-out on the reverse balanced sheet.
3. Edge-Sealing for Wet Areas
When installing cabinets near kitchen sinks or bathroom vanities, seal all cut edges with waterproof silicone to prevent substrate moisture absorption.
