Board delamination — where the surface skin peels away from the edge — is the most common cabinet failure in India. At SurajWood, we have eliminated this issue completely through advanced lamination science.
1. Polyurethane Reactive (PUR) Hotmelt Chemistry
Unlike standard white glue or contact adhesives that dry by evaporation and remain water-soluble, PUR hotmelt is a chemical adhesive that cures via atmospheric moisture. It forms a permanent, irreversible cross-linked bond.
2. Steam and Heat Tolerance
Once cured, PUR adhesive does not re-melt, tolerating temperatures up to 120°C. This makes it completely steam-proof in modular kitchens near gas hobs and ovens.
3. Flawless Factory Flatness
Our positive-pressure cleanroom lamination lines apply PUR hotmelt at a highly consistent micron-thickness, ensuring a perfectly smooth lamination with zero bubbles or ripples.
